1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all subscription purchases made on the Nutrimate app (nutrimate.in) by Nutrimate Wellness Pvt. Ltd., a DPIIT recognised startup registered in Maharashtra, India (DPIIT Certificate No. DIPP225670).
Please read this policy carefully before purchasing a Nutrimate Premium subscription. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy

    2. Our Subscription Plans
    Nutrimate offers the following paid plan:

    • Nutrimate Premium — ₹ 399 per month (or annual equivalent)
    Includes: WhatsApp meal logging, detailed micronutrients,
    Caregiver Connection, Trainer Coaching module, and all features not available on the free plan.

    • MyGymApp B2B Platform — pricing as per signed agreement with the gym or fitness centre.

    The free plan does not require payment and is not covered by this policy

      3. No-Refund Policy
      ALL SUBSCRIPTION FEES PAID TO NUTRIMATE WELLNESS PVT. LTD. ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

      Once a Nutrimate Premium subscription is activated on your account, no refund will be issued under any of the following circumstances:

      • (a) You change your mind after purchasing
        (b) You did not use the subscription during the billing period
        (c) You are dissatisfied with any feature, design, or content
        (d) You forgot that auto-renewal was active
        (e) A family member or someone else made the purchase on your device
        (f) You found a better or cheaper alternative
        (g) You did not read this policy before purchasing
        (h) You purchased the wrong plan
        (i) Your account was suspended due to violation of our Terms of Use
        (j) You request a refund after the subscription period has already been used in part or in full

      This policy is consistent with Indian consumer law for digital subscription services under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Digital services that have been accessed and used are not eligible for refund under Indian law

        4. The Only Exception — Verified Technical Failure
        The one and only exception to the no-refund policy is:

        A verified technical failure on Nutrimate’s servers that has completely prevented your access to all core paid features for more than 72 continuous hours — confirmed by Nutrimate’s technical team through server logs, audit records, and error tracking.

        In this case only, we may at our sole discretion issue one of the following:
        • A credit equivalent to the affected period, applied to your
        next billing cycle
        • A pro-rata refund for the exact number of days service was completely unavailable

        Important: The following are NOT considered technical failures:
        • Slow performance or minor bugs that do not prevent core access
        • WhatsApp delivery delays
        • Features temporarily unavailable during maintenance windows
        • Issues caused by your device, internet connection, or OS version
        • Third-party API delays (Google, WhatsApp, payment gateway)

          5. How to Report a Technical Issue
          If you believe you qualify for the technical failure exception, follow these steps exactly:

          • Step 1: Email admin@nutrimate.in within 7 days of the issue
            Step 2: Use subject line: ‘Technical Issue — [Your Registered Mobile Number]’
            Step 3: Include in your email:
            — Your registered mobile number
            — Date and time the issue started
            — Screenshots or screen recordings showing the error
            — Description of what you were trying to do
            Step 4: Our team will investigate within 7 working days
            Step 5: If the issue is verified, we will process the credit or refund within 14 working days
          • Reports submitted after 7 days of the issue will not be considered.
            Reports without supporting evidence will not be considered.

            6. Auto-Renewal — How It Works
            Nutrimate Premium subscriptions auto-renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will be charged automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.

            • To cancel auto-renewal before the next billing date:
            • Android users:
              Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Nutrimate → Cancel Subscription
            • iOS users:
              Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Nutrimate → Cancel Subscription
            • Important: Cancelling auto-renewal stops future charges.
              It does not refund the current billing period.
              You will continue to have access until the end of the period you already paid for.

              7. Purchases Made Through App Stores
              If you subscribed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store, your purchase is governed by their respective refund policies in addition to ours:

              • Google Play: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
                Google may issue refunds within 48 hours of purchase at their discretion.
                After 48 hours, contact Nutrimate directly — Google will not refund.

              • Apple App Store: support.apple.com/en-in/billing
                Apple may issue refunds within 14 days of purchase at their discretion.
                After 14 days, contact Nutrimate directly — Apple will not refund.

              • Note: App store refund policies are independent of Nutrimate’s policy.
                We do not control app store refund decisions.

                8. Payments — How They Are Processed

                All payments are processed securely through trusted payment partners including Google Play, and Apple App Store (for in-app subscriptions), in compliance with applicable payment and RBI guidelines.

                The descriptor on your bank or credit card statement may appear as ‘NUTRIMATE’, ‘NUTRIMATE WELLNESS’, ‘GOOGLE*NUTRIMATE’, or ‘APPLE.COM/BILL’, depending on the platform used.

                Nutrimate does not store your payment card details. All card data is handled by the payment gateway under PCI DSS compliance standards.

                If you see a charge you do not recognise — check if it matches a Nutrimate subscription you or a family member signed up for. If you believe the charge is genuinely unauthorized, contact your bank immediately and email admin@nutrimate.in.

                9. B2B — MyGymApp Refund Terms
                For gym and fitness centre partners using the MyGymApp white-label platform — refund terms are governed exclusively by the signed digital service agreement between Nutrimate Wellness Pvt. Ltd. and the partner gym. The consumer-facing terms in this policy do not apply to B2B contracts. Any refund request from a B2B partner must be made in writing to admin@nutrimate.in within 7 days of the disputed invoice date.

                10. Chargebacks and Disputes
                If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank without first contacting Nutrimate, your account will be suspended immediately pending resolution.
                We maintain complete transaction records, usage logs, and consent records. If a chargeback is found to be unjustified, Nutrimate reserves the right to pursue recovery of the amount through legal means and report the incident to relevant financial authorities.
                We encourage you to contact us first at admin@nutrimate.in before raising a dispute. Most issues can be resolved directly and quickly.

                11. Governing Law
                This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the Information Technology Act 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra.

                12. Changes to This Policy
                Nutrimate Wellness Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Continued use of the service after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
