Request deletion of your FitVia account and personal data
1. How to request deletion
FitVia is a platform provided to you by your gym, fitness centre, or organisation (your “Establishment”). Because accounts are managed within your Establishment’s environment, deletion is handled through a simple email request rather than an in-app button.
To request deletion of your FitVia account and associated personal data, email us:

2. What to include in your email
So we can verify your identity and locate your account, please include:
- Registered name on your FitVia account
- Registered mobile number
- Registered email address (if any)
- Name of your gym / Establishment
- A clear statement that you wish to delete your account and data
Use the subject line “FitVia Account Deletion Request”. We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.
3. What happens next
1 We acknowledge your request
Within 3 working days of receiving your email.
2 We verify your identity
To protect your data, we confirm the request comes from you.
3 We disable access & delete your data
Your access is disabled and your personal data is deleted or anonymised, except data we must lawfully retain (see below).
4 We confirm completion
We email you confirmation, within the timelines required by applicable law.
4. What is deleted and what is retained
Deleted or anonymised
- Profile and contact details
- Fitness and health logs (meals, workouts, steps, water)
- Health scores and progress data
- Assigned plans and preferences
- Usage and analytics identifiers linked to you
Lawfully retained
- Records required by tax, accounting & law
- Transaction records for past bookings/payments
- Information needed to resolve disputes or legal claims
- Security and audit logs (limited period)
- Anonymised/aggregated data that no longer identifies you
Retained data is kept only for as long as necessary for these limited purposes and is then deleted, anonymised, or aggregated, in line with our Privacy Policy.
5. Good to know
Your rights are protected. Handling deletion by verified email request (instead of an instant in-app button) does not remove your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It simply ensures the request genuinely comes from you and allows us to retain the limited data the law requires.
- Deleting your FitVia account may end your access to services provided through your gym. You may wish to speak to your gym first.
- You can also raise a deletion request directly with your gym, which administers your membership.
